Swami Kapalishananda ji Maharaj serves as the current Adhyaksha of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Rishikesh. His journey within the Ramakrishna Order began at the Chennai Ramakrishna Math in 1978. Taking Sanyasa in 1989, he dedicated himself to the service of the Order. His tenure included service at various locations: Chennai Ramakrishna Math until 1992, followed by stints at Kanchipuram and Salem Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama from 1993 to 2004, Rajahmundry Ramakrishna Math from 2004 to 2011, Sri Lanka's Batticaloa Ramakrishna Mission from 2012 to 2013, and a return to Rajahmundry Ramakrishna Math as Adhyaksha from 2013 to 2018. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of Adhyaksha at Rishikesh Ramakrishna Math.
